Remix Hotel Atlanta 2008 and the Atlantis Music Conference & Festival have teamed up to produce a collaborative event of programming, panels and performances in Atlanta September 18-20, 2008. With Remix Hotel Atlanta situated at the SAE Institute of Technology (215 Peachtree St NE, Atlanta, GA 30303) and Atlantis residing at the CW Midtown Music Complex (1374 W. Peachtree St. Atlanta, GA 30309), this partnership offers an exciting weekend of new developments in music technology and production techniques as well as industry know-how, networking and live performances.
Additionally, a Atlantis Music Festival registration offers a free all access pass to Remix Hotel Atlanta. Free shuttle service will transport attendees to and from each venue. This enables Atlantis's 250-plus showcasing acts and thousands of registrants as well as Remix Hotel's music-production audience an opportunity to experience each event's full programming.
Remix Hotel, the traveling music production and performance event produced by Remix magazine, is the only forum of its kind. Now in its sixth year, Remix Hotel brings together music industry leaders, artists, producers, decision makers and the audience that supports them in various cities across the nation. The three-day event combines interactive workshops, clinics, technology showcases and product demos with panels featuring leading producers and engineers, as well as performances by some of the world's top electronic and hip-hop artists.
Remix Hotel Atlanta 2008 welcomes Technology and Media Partners Roland, Rane, Pioneer, Disc Makers, B&H, iStandard, Ex'pression College for Digital Arts and others. In addition to partner exhibits, Remix Hotel Atlanta features three days of music-production and performance panels, presented by Remix magazine and iStandard, on topics such as live performance, songwriting, mixing, the Atlanta urban-music scene and more.
At the close of Remix Hotel hours each day, the showcase element heads to the CW Midtown Music Complex for nightly Remix Hotel-sponsored programming, including the iStandard Producer Showcase on Friday, Sept. 19. The event features up-and-coming hip-hop, R&B and pop producers presenting tracks in front of industry tastemakers, including label executives, A&R reps and established producers.
